Having had an employee complete a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade, we were very happy with the services provided by Rodney Day. The fact that the assessments were made on the job means that we didn’t have an experienced employee sitting in a classroom for days at a time. Over the course of the certificate, we found Rodney to be friendly and efficient, and he communicated all expectations and deliverables very clearly. Rodney also worked together with our employee to ensure deadlines were met etc.
Workplace delivered training, by an experienced tradesman was ideal for our employee who was a skilled labourer and had plenty of on the job experience under his belt. Overall, the service provided by Rodney was seamless and we’d have no hesitation in using him for future on the job training and assessments.

Training staff is part of building a good business culture, and here at Arrow Farmquip when we needed someone to train our fabricators we contracted Rodney Day for the task. We were very pleased with the whole way this was conducted and the result was great. Rodney was prepared to work with our staff and within our time frame which helped our business plans. Rodney also assists you to see if any relevant Government funding is available, which is a plus.

Rod’s delivery of the Cert II Welding course to the supported employees and Transition to Work participants at Acacia Park Enterprises was very impressive. The course was pitched at a level that was easy to understand as well as informative. Any learning barriers that the students experienced were met by Rod’s professionalism and experience towards achieving positive outcomes. The practical hands on approach proved successful with many outstanding projects created such as a BBQ, rocket stove and trailer. I would highly recommend this course to others.
